This famous quote was attributed to an icon, poet, author and activist but now late Maya Angelou who passed to the great beyond on May 28, 2014.
It talks about defeats.
Simply put, life is full of ups and downs and we shouldn’t allow them weigh us down.
Challenges must be conquered it suggests.
Overcoming uphill tasks. Rising up from the dead.
I personally recall getting chucked out from the university and eventually spending almost 9 years to get a 4 year degree.
Today, I look back always and smile.
Twasn’t easy of course, but I triumphed.
I literally rose from the dead, educationally.
If we fall down 7 times, it’s imperative that we get up 8 times.
In a nutshell, when life throws a lemon at you – Make lemonade.
Never give up !
